Join us to celebrate 20 years of Landcare in Lennox with a planting in the new park at Lake Ainsworth.
We'll be planting part of the area formerly known as 'the dog walkers car park'. It's a bit exciting for us as the planting will extend the dune vegetation to the north which is one of our original Landcare sites.
On the day there'll also be a display with information about local plants and wildlife, heritage pictures of Lake Ainsworth... and a selection of local native plants for sale which have been grown by our members specifically to help create habitat gardens.
We'll be meeting at 9am Sunday 17th November at the northern end of the new Lake park, where the dog walkers’ car park previously was.
There's no need to RSVP. Bring your hats, gloves, water bottle, the family, friends and a trowel or bucket may come in handy (but not essential).
